headers or not

i just got a 95 150 with the 302, it needs some more power and sound, im kind of on a budget so headers might be out of the question. what is the best sounding cat back? and where is a good place to get one, will it pep it up at all? or does anyone sell a system that goes from the engine all the way back?

If your on a budget, forget the cat-back. Go to an exhaust shop and get something custom bent up and you will save a bit of $$$ over a pre-bent cat-back. You should be able to get a decent set of painted headers for your truck for around $150. Spray on some good high temp paint and they will last a while. May want to get a higher flow cat to replace the stocker.

You'll get an increase in power with the exhaust but more with the headers. 15rwhp would not be out of the question with the headers.

Most short tube headers are made to bolt up to stock pipes.
