Excursion Electric Hybrid Conversions

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I signed up because I have recently discovered the possibility of converting my 2002 Excursion Limited (V10) into a Electric Plugin Hybrid (runs on electricity & gas) . It seems that there may be incentives available, and the cost may not be all that much. It appears that the impression that most of us have is that only small cars can run on electricity. I have heard that this is not the case.

I'm going to do some more research into the fine details and will keep posting updates.

In the meantime I was trying to determine if there is any interest from other enthusiasts?

Thanks, seesync99

Hello and Welcome!

Great information and I think you will find a good discussion group in our Hybrid forum, here's a link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum146/ That is a great topic and I'm sure there will be a lot of interest in it. Be sure and stop in the Nevada chapter for more information on local activities and support. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum181/

Good luck and enjoy the site!
