Good Price?

I am looking at 2 different 07 PSD# 1 - 4X4 crew cab fx4 sticker $ 46480.00, price before tax and rebates of $3800.00 (or low interest financing) $ 41498.00.

# 2 - 4X4 crew cab pretty stripped by comparison sticker $ 42465.00, price before tax and rebates of $3800.00 (or low interest financing) $ 38168.00.

I know the exact specs are missing but, sticker vs. sale price difference, ok fantastic, not so good. Opinions please.

Thanks.

They dont seem too bad. If they are taking almost 5K off sticker and then taking off the other 3800 in rebates off. There may be a little more room to move, but probably not too much. You are looking at almost 9k off total. I got my '06 for 10K off but that was when Ford was giving a 5K rebate and the dealer took off 5K on his end.

I think you can do better. My sticker was ~$43k and I paid ~$31.5k. I've seen others with even better deals. You might want to try working them a little more.

You shouldn't even be looking at sticker. Find out the invoice price for whatever you are interested in buying, and deal from there.

Basically just negotiate the base price to as close to invoice as possible, and then take rebates/incentives off of that.

Orig Sticker prce on mine was $51,900 (2006 F250 Lariat 8' bed and loaded to the hilt with all the goodies) Owned by 1 Ford Exec in Kentuky (did a car-fax)
I bought it with 8500 miles on it for $34,000. Didnt want the leather seats and all the goodies (although they are nice)
The only requirements I really had were 8' bed Super Cab w/tow command and diesel of course.
But with discounts and all Best I could do on a new one (08 or 07) $32,800 and they couldnt find what I wanted in my area.
Seems most of the SCabs around here are 6.5 bed. That was not an option. What they did have was 2 or 300 miles away
But I just happened upon one with a price I couldnt pass on.
By the way through the company I work for (as a lot of cos now) I have what is called the X-Plan. It knocks off around $3000. Its basically right above what an employee of Ford would pay, which he pays just above invoice. But in short its about 3k.
But before the x-plan there was my dad and he di just as well if not better. He could talk the croe off a trailer hitch.
