33" or 35"

Got an 86 150 4x4 with a 300. Gears in axles suck, but going to get them changed before new tires. Have about 3" total suspension lift. Would you go with 33 or 35? Seen some people running both sizes, but not sure what is realy a good match. I like the stocky tough look, but don't want any major rubbing or trimming. Thanks

I ran 4" with 35's and the only issue i ever had was rubbing the radius arms at full lock and if i hit a REAL big bump the tire would hit the very back bottom corner of the wheel well.

I always got compliments on how it looked like it could have rolled off the showroom floor like it was.

I'd think that 3" and 33's would be about right.

I have the same truck and run Goodyear sportking at radials 33.12.50,s with no problem. They wear and ride great low noise and great traction on and off road.

Thanks fellas, I kind of figured that 35's would be a bit large and it is a daily driver so I don't really need all that fender room from trimming or rubbing.
