Timing - Is this normal?
Triple checked my base timing last night (SPOUT disconnected), and it was right at 10* BTDC. Just for grins, I reconnected the SPOUT and checked it out again. At idle, it was ~18*BTDC, and when I would blip the throttle it would immediately revert back to 10* and then jump well above 20*. Just looking for some verification that this is what is supposed to be happening?

Yes... that's normal. The computer puts additional timing in from the base setting, and gradually pulls it out depending upon load and rpm. An engine makes more torque and accelerates better with the ignition advanced, but too much can cause detonation, so the goal is a happy medium.
