My 04 has a single cd, I swapped out the factory speakers for rockford fosgates and that stereo will run you out. I can only imagine what the tremor sounds like or how you could stand it. At half volume it starts giving me a headack. My 23 year old son, my youngest of 2 says I need an amp and subwoofer, "for what'? It's so loud now I can't stand it. The only reason I did the rockfords was for clairity, it didn't need anymore volume. I can listen to my cow calling music (country) or my Bay City Rollors and even Donny Osmond with crystal clairity, it's so clear I can even hear Meatloaf fart as he finds paradise by the dashboard lights. These new systems are amazing and I don't even have the good one. On my focus st, I don't have to take my hand off the wheel to change stations or change volume. I've been to 3 hangings and 4 county fairs, and ain't never seen nothing like this.
Yes, a turntable. I don't remember what year T-bird it was as I was only 4 or 5 at the time. If it was new, then it would have been a '62 or '63. But I remember my uncle pulling up in the driveway, and he showed us the turntable. It slid out from under the glovebox, and you could put records on it. Then when you were done, it slid back in. I would imagine it was only used when you were parked.
Someone mentioned they have $1000. invested in their stereo. I don't need anything that expensive. $100 for the receiver, $100 for the speakers, and maybe $80 for the fully automatic antenna, and I am a happy camper.

Reason: typo
i think your pioneer 6 disc has about 400 waats the tremor model has to have more waats because its pushing 9 speakers.(515 waats)
I know in 04 that that radio was an option as long as you had the auto tranny cuz the console went all the way to the dash with a 6" woofer in the console and had a claimed 290 watts of power and the next step up was the 510 watt Tremor package.
level,
your right on the 290 part, i was originally going to say like 300 but didnt want to insult anyone.
we have a 10inch pioneer sub built with a custom box for the back, carpet coated with pioneer symbols on it, amp built inside the box. pull the frot seats forward and it acts like a bench seat in the back.
Bay City Rollers! LOL! Oh man, I hate to admit it, but I owned one of their albums...........LMAO!

Donny was the man and Marie wasn't to shabby either. Donny was what I listened to when no one was a round to see me, but in public it was Aero Smith, Kiss, Steve Miller, The Eagles, Bob Segar, Reo Speedwagon and Boston to name a few. In the privicy of my bedroom, it was Donny Osmond, The Capenters, Air Supply and Simon and Garfunkle. Then I got into my southern rock phase with Skinnered, Marhsal Tucker, Blackfoot, Molly Hachet and CCR. I'm a man of many moods hee hee.
I didn't listen to too many carpenter songs, but I did listen to the Osmonds, and Simon and Garfunkle. Also listened to Pink Floyd, Aerosmith and Fleetwood Mac.

HA HA, HEE HEE. Mr. saturday night a special; Can't you see what that woman's been doin' to me; Train train, take me on out of this town, that woman I've been in love with, she's got to go; Whiskey man don't you play that hand too long; There's a bathroom on the right. Great stuff Wendell. Gave me a chuckle too. Man, you guys sure know how to hijack a thread. But heck, the thread's about a stereo and this is music. Love it. Sorry, Donny didn't quite ring my bell untill Joseph and the Amazing coloured Dreamcoat. He really is a great stage musical actor. Air supply? High school dance stuff to snuggle up to the sweeties, hee hee.
