Hello I have a 1999 f150 supercab 5.4 L 4x4 with 48k miles
recently the wipers started coming on for no apparent reason run for 3 - 4 times than shut off. This seems to indicate a short. Has anyone elae had this problem and what to look for to repair it.

Do a search on multifunction switch. Its the one that controls you blinkers,wipers, and highbeam.
