The 302/E4OD combination was used in a large number of trucks over the years and worst case, a replacement computer will cost you anywhere from $25 to $150. You don't necessarily need one from a 1990. The safest bet is 1991-1993. You could use one from any year that had speed density, E4OD and 302. At some point on or after 1994, Ford started using mass air and phased out speed density. The mass air computers won't work unless you do a conversion.

Yes, that is correct.

Here is one for you if you can find it:
<table table="" style="font-size: 80%;" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="1" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1"><tbody><tr><td>E1A1</td> <td>5.0</td> <td>Bronco, F-x50 E-x50</td> <td>SD-Bank / E4OD</td></tr></tbody></table>

The Part number you are looking for is:
NON California (FED)
Ford = F2TF-12A650-AHA or AHB
A-1 CARDONE = 785235

California
Ford = F2TF-12A650-AJA
A-1 CARDONE = 785237

These numbers are for a:
1992 FORD BRONCO 5.0L 302cdi V8 MFI (N) E4OD

Being these are for a 1992 you may have some sensor problems.
The 1991 BRONCO was the first to have the E4OD as a standard Auto Transmission so if you can find one out of a 1991 Bronco 5.0 you will be a lot better off. Sorry I do not have the numbers for the 1991.
You might try a post in a Bronco forum.

Have Fun

Update
Numbers for 1991 do not use the ones above.
These numbers are for a:
1991 FORD BRONCO/F150 5.0L 302cdi V8 MFI (N) E4OD

NON California (FED)
Ford = F1TF-12A650-TA
A-1 CARDONE = 785087

California
Ford = F1TF-12A650-XA
A-1 CARDONE = 785091
or
Ford = F1TF-12A650-XB
A-1 CARDONE = 785092

May work OK one of the things I do not know about is the VSS input. Ford changed the VSS input in 1992 and I do not know what they did to this signal.

I do not know for sure, the VSS would be the same on a 90 & 91 and may be the same on the 92 but I have not been able to verify this signal.

The pre 1992 trucks use a small generator to output a signal and the 1992-1996 uses a switch on the rear end.
What I do not know is does the PSOM convert the off/on signal from the rear end to the same type signal the older small generator put out that went strait to the computer.

That is a 1987 part number and they did not have a E4OD in 1987.

E = 1980's
7 = 7th year.
