Lightning rims

I have a 1983 F 150 I want to put some 04 or 05 ford lightning rims on it. I need to know if they have the same bolt pattern, and will fit?

I don't think they will fit. The old trucks have 5 on 5.5 or 5x139.7mm. The later trucks have 5x135mm bolt pattern.

Thats only 4 mm. A well placed drill bit shoud do the trick for that.

I have seen '97 F150 rims on an '85. I've seen quite a few around here mis-matched like that. They must fit.

No they will not the 83 is 5x5.5 pattern and the 97 up is 5x135mm I had a set of lightning wheels I was going to put on my 86 and they don't fit. They did however make a aftermarket replica in the old lug pattern.

They don't fit . But not by much . But I don't mess with wheels when it comes to that. I suppose you could get them machined but with the liability I don't think you find anyone to do it. Good luck
