I have an 04 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab FX4.. I'm looking at new rims.. I'll be running 315/75R16 with 4.5" DR Lift.. Do I need 16x8 or 16x10? I'm not sure what the stock rim is, I know I can run 315/75R16 find on stock rim.. There's a BIG difference in price between 16x8 and 16x10 in the rim I want lol..
According to the Tire and Rim Association guidelines a 8" rim is the min for 315/75R16. So a 16X8" rim is just fine. A 10" rim is the max width for a 315 tire. With a '04 the 16X8" is actually the better choice, as the tire will measure a bit narrower (approx 0.80") than if it were mounted on a 10" rim. This will give you more clearence between the tire and the leafs.
Those are going to look great. I bought a set of Mickey Thompson Classic IIs a while back that look pretty similar to those. I'm going to put 315/75/16 Toyos on once I do my lift. I can't wait to see your truck once you get it lifted.
