Hello from WA
Hello from WA. I'm looking at a 1960 F-100 4X4 thats been owned for 47 years by a retired mechanic from the Ford garage in town. It needs some body work but he put a new V8 292 in it less than 2000 miles ago. So I signed up for these forums to get some information from knowledgable enthusiasts.
I've wanted a good, old truck for a long time. My first "car" was a 72' F250 4X4. I purchased the truck from a neighbor farmer for $50 in 1990. We tore it up in that truck. The corolla is getting a little tiresome for this hillbilly.

Welcome to FTE, sounds like a smokin deal! A 1960 F-100 is a neat ride and a 4X4 is even more so.
