need bellhousing to fit engine/trans flywheel for said engine mounts and frame stands.me personaly would never put am m into nothing but the scrap pile m = mistake but to each there own i gess. navyflyinggreg your 300 bellhousing will work and your flywheel will bolt up DO NOT use the fly wheel its balenced different than a v-8 and will vibrate your crank bad enuff to wipeout a new crank. i spose you could have everything balenced together at a good rebuilder tho
So to use the 351W all we need is the 351w flywheel and motor mounts.

The real potential in the 351M is finding a 400 crank and pistons... HP/TQ are about the same for the 351M/351W, the heads on the M are way better than factory W heads, you can use the M heads on the Windsor block though and you will have a much better motor. The stock M heads flow better than performance GT-40 heads do for the 302/351W.
