front end damage

I need some help here. I did something stupid.
The other nite i had a little too much to drink and accidently smashed up the front of my bronco, The bumper took most of the impact. It bent both ends of the frame in, the right is worse than the left. I got the bumber off, and tried using a com-a-long to pull the ends stright, no luck. Any better methods to straighten the end of my frame?

Not good thinking, but it sounds like you may have accepted your "wake-up" call like a man.

Don't know what to suggest about the damage but I had an accident with my old '78 Bronco where a guy ran a red light and t-boned him. I got my truck repaired and thought everything was alright. About six months later my starter motor let me down about 80 miles away from home. It turned out to be that the motor was damaged (case cracked) in the accident. Ended up the cost coming out of my pocket!

Check EVERYTHING, twice.

I'd say use a hydralic ram (the ones with the hand jack pump with a hose connected to a ram). Kinda like the jaws of life. I think you can rent them. I've used them before and they have more than enough power to staiten frames. A body shop or wreck-repair shop will also have them if you were to have a shop do it. Keep in mind a shop will do a much better job so all the bolts will line up again.
Hate to hear about accidents like that but all we can do is learn from them.
