1990 f-250 trans problem
I just bought this truck and it will not shift out of 1st gear if you put it in drive. But it will shift manually into second but not into high gear any help would be greatly appreciated so i can start driving it. I do know the fliud and filter need to be changed.

3speed automatic not shifting in D, but 1 and 2 manually work? Classic C6 problem, but it's an easy fix.
The C6's vacuum modulator on the passenger side of the tranny is a cheap replacement. Also, inspect the vacuum line that runs up to the engine manifold for leaks.
