Stereo Deck.. Need some help finding one

Hey Guys.. I got a second car, 05 Kia Amanti.. I need a 6.5 or 7" LCD Screen system that plays MP3s.. I'm looking for one similiar to my Pioneer AVH I have in my F250.. But with less of a price cost.. It's for my mum and she doesnt need all the bells and whistles.. Just one iwth a screen that plays Mp3.. The way her car is designed, it looks better having an indash 6.5/7" screen setup like mine..

Any ideas? I thought JVC had a decent one for 400-500 but I can't seem to find it on their website.. Again this is for a mother so it doesnt need any crazy things.. Nor is the subs being hooked to it.. LOL

Why does it need the screen? Why not use a mounting kit and a $200 DEH-P5900IB. It has a nice display, remote, and it plays mp3s.

Look into Valor - they are a prime manufacturer (of other LARGE brand names).
I think they have several sub $700 units available. The shop I used to work at has had great luck with them for the price point.

Because the way the Amanti interior is setup a screen insert would look alot better then a single din with a kit.. You'd have to see the interior, I'll take a pic later.. I would have went the single myself but it just wouldn't look right with the leather, wood grain dash adn the way the stereo & a/c is setup..

Ok, it's much like the new fords where it just looks funny with a single din. You might be able to find a double or a din+1/2 that would fit well and not look out of place. I don't think you'll find a cheap (sub $700) unit that you'll be happy with after the pioneer unit.

True.. Its not my car so I'm not concerned.. I was looking at the Dual XDVD8285 deck.. It's not too bad, can get one for about $550 new.. It plays MP3 on both CD and DVD, has bluetooth, ipod hookup.. Menus aren't too horrible.. For the price it might be ok for her.. Me no, because I'm a features freak.. But her stereo right now skips on every cd you put in.. Its not cool...

What do you think? Again its not me driving so I'm not concerned with it.. As long as it works like it should and isn't a broke unit I'm ok.. Course nothing will compare to my Pioneer LOL!

Dual = garbage. Ask a salesperson/installer at Best Buy what their return/failure rate is.

This is gonna sound funny, but the Jensen one is half way decent for what it is. This is about the best thing that company has ever put out. I normally would not recommend Jensen, but a friend has one, and it is fairly decent.

Nope looking for a double din flush mount... The Amanti Interior is very similiar to our SD interior where a 6.5" Screen flush mount receiver looks best.. I run the Pioneer AVH-P6800 DVD.. I just gotta find one at a good price with Bluetooth for mum.. She's a realtor/office manager so she does a lot of talking.. I just trying to stay clear of having to buy a BT adapter but it looks like I will do that.. It seems best that I just get another Pioneer like mine with the BT adapter.. If they support it.. Gotta check site..

I would think they do. As for the skipping problem it may just need cleaned.
