Am I Crazy?

I just put new tires on my truck last week. I went from a 265/75/16 to a 295/75/16 (Nitto Tera Grapplers), and noticed a big change in "driveability". Before the new tires, it seemed like the truck would always "over-rev" before it shifted; especially from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd. Now, it seems to shift exactly where I always thought it should. Am I nuts, or could the increase in tire diameter have made that much of a difference? By the way, truck is an '01 F250 SC 4x4 w/5.4 & Auto.

Any time you change a tire diameter, it's going to affect your drivetrain. In your case, it sounds like it's a good change.
