1st oil change question
this past weekend my 2002 f150 4.6 rolled over 3000miles. i plan on changing the oil this weekend and just wondering what name brand oil everybody uses. i have used castrol for several years and thats my oil of choice for my new truck unless someone can convince me otherwise.

1st oil change question
My truck, 4.6l, now has 155k miles. It has gotten nothing but Mobil1 fully synthetic oil, 10W30. I change it every 4k miles. I use the Purolator PureOne filter.
I like the synthetic oil. It gives me a bit more time between changes and I am a firm believer that it makes a difference in longlivety on a modern V8 like the 4.6l.

1st oil change question
Check out the oil forum of this board. Basically, if Castrol has made you happy then use it. None of the current oils will harm your engine if you service it on a timely bases.
