Everyone just left..It was a great Easter. I never had Champagne and OJ before...They called it a weird name, but tastes pretty good. Wife just said it is called Mimosa...OJ and Champagne to me.
The kids had a great time, but my wife and neice were too easy on hiding the eggs...If it were up to me, they would be looking until they were my age!
First time I had an Easter brunch...Used to a ham dinner.
Glad you had a great Easter Mike. Don't really remember how it is to spend Easter with my kids but I'm sure it was great. Happy Easter to you too Rebel!
Happy Easter to my wife Emily!
Ouch. Am I the youngest member in the forum. And BTW, Liz, I think you actually died and went to heaven from the description of your place!
Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not dead! But, yeah, I'm definitely in heaven! When we decided it was time to leave Fairbanks, Alaska, we just couldn’t get ourselves to go back to the grind of city life. So, we moved to the base of Mt Adams. Thought it would be a good place to raise our kids.
I’m not sure if you’re the youngest… My son is in his third year of college, but he graduated high school when he was 16, and he just turned 19 in February. My daughter is in her first year of college, but is also a Junior at high school. She is in the Running Start Program… She’ll have her AA before she graduates high school. She’s 17 and just got her driver’s license last Friday! Whoo Hoo!
If I had graduated from high school, it would’ve been in ’80.

Is Fairbanks really a City?....Only been stuck in the middle of nowhere, courtesy of Uncle Sam.

it is in the summer ~ 250k+! But, not in the winter... I don't know if it even classifies as a town then ~ 10k. There aren't too many people silly enough to stay all year... What I was referring to was before we went to Alaska, we lived in Portland. All done with that! Too much rain and too many people! So, east of the cascades for us!

I would have graduated in 94'
I would feel like the idiot child here but I've gained so much life experience and been through so much that I feel comfortable here. I didn't need to join the military. I grew up as a white kid in Trenton NJ. We had our own war.

Took a load of harbor buoys to Government Island in ’88. I’ll tell ya, driving a semi down the streets of Manhattan is an interesting ordeal! Anyways, thought I would feel safer sleeping outside of the city, so I went into Trenton. Wow! I grew up on the south side of LA, but Trenton SCARED me!

Yeah, It's a little different life. I still have quite a few deep scars on my body. But I'm glad to be here in WA FTE now!
My Honey took the fam out to brunch! The drive to town is always nice ~ 48 miles one-way ~ Yup, I live way deep in the woods! OK, well actually on top of a mountain... No cell phone, no television, no radio, no high speed Internet, not much of nothin'! Cows... trees... bored teenagers.... Hell, the high school I work at has 68 students K-12, and has a graduating class this year of, are you ready? One! Yes, we have one senior in our high school! Six Juniors, three sophomores and five freshman! Boy, now if that ain't redneck country, I don't know what is! I just love it though!
Hmmm, I bet bake sales are very successful there...you could probably even bring in $10 for the PTA!
