I live in PA and they are using liquid salt ( deicer ?) I waxed my truck in Dec. with a good quality wax and while giving a good cleaning yesterday . It didn't even bubble water off it. This slime stuff was like oil on everything My head lights are even discolored . (This was southern truck and lights ETC looked great last fall) It took me half hour on each side just to get slim off the side trim .
Since its ovious that a good wax job (I don't have garage to wax every week but never had problem before this liquid crap) and weekly washing dosn't help . I hate to see what this dose to cars in future.I know the 500+ miles a week is alot more road time than most people and truck is exposed more .but anything this stuff is crazy .
Next year this truck is sitting and I'll find something else to run . Mabey a 97 newer F150 I don't like them so if it rust who cares.
End of rant thanks
P.S. Got 4 inches of snow so much for my cleaning truck
