I had to remove mine. I really don't think you can do it without removing the TB. The good news is that it is not nearly as much trouble as it seems it will be. It was really quite easy, and I'm definately not a mechanic!

Thanks, I was just trying to avoid from having to purchase another gasket laster on down the road. lol I need to repalce my throttle body due to it leaking. Which its currently bypassed but thier has to be a reason why it was designed to run coolant though the throttle body. So I was to fix it properly later on when I can get a new one.
I was looking at it earlier today and it appears its only 4 bolts to remove the throttle body. Do you recall what size the bolts where?
