I haven't posted in awhile but what a great site to just be educated on the PSD.I have a 99.5 PSD that I have just added an AFE stage two pro-gaurd 7 cold air intake and a 4 inch MKO exhaust system. The truck also has a Super chips micro tuner. My SES light now comes on somtimes then goes out. This started the next day after I installed my 4 inch exhaust. Do I need to remove my battery cables and let my computer find my latest mods? I have not pulled any codes to see what it is reporting.

it might come on cause you have overboost condition, so you going over i think 22psi, or you have bad EBV exhaust back pressure sensor ,
unplugging your bateries never hurts, you can allways try it,
let us know in what conditions your SES comes on when or what you doing when it happens,

DTC P1280 indicates injector control signal circuit out of range low was detected during KOEO Self Test or during continuous diagnostic monitoring.
Possible causes:
biased ICP sensor/PCM
open ICP sensor circuit
short to SIG RTN or PWR GND on ICP sensor circuit
open in VREF circuit
That could deffinately cause the rpm to fluctuate.
