When the time comes, what are you going to replace your current diesel pickup with?

I currently own a 94 F250 7.3IDI N/A that I would replace with one just like it. I also own several Mercedes with the 617.952 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine in them, I am in the process of putting one of these in my 53 F100.

I will replace mine only when they make a truck better than the one I got... It better have dual climate controls and rear air and heat... Rear DVD and sunroof , nav and get 20 mpg+ and have 400 hp and 800 ftlb TQ. I'm not looking for much am I...

I was never a FORD guy until I started looking for a Diesel. Drove all brands and the ONLY one I would by is a Ford.

I've had my 99 since new. I plan on spending a few thousand on it this year on up grades. Think I'll keep that $50000 in my pocket. Have no plans on ever replacing it. It's been the best vehicle I've ever owned and I've had a lot of them.

I didn't see a choice for

"Another used diesel - best deal I can find regardless of brand"

Though with the experience I've gained on this old Ford, it would only make sense to stick with them unless there was a compelling reason to switch - like a deal I just couldn't pass on.....

Hopefully my current diesel will last until I can buy a hovercraft with a Mr. Fission power supply.

Too bad you didn't include a "keep the current one forever" as I would have voted that one as well. There simply isn't a more reliable, capable truck than the 7.3 Powerstroke.
