Looks great from the picture, time to find an old Triumph 650, Trophy or Bonneville.
Too bad it wasn`t a 67/9, it would be even more interesting.

That is a nice truck, depending on drivtain and how well the interior was done. 4000 is very ballpark I think.

I was always fond of the 64's and that one could get some serious attention in a cruise as is.

Well, it's ironic saying that about a 64 espically because in 65 it would ride alot better. I think that is what Joe was reffering to.

Just makin sure everyone caught on.

Yep, the 65/66 is a nicer ride, and easier to swap motors, more modern safety equipment onto.

you cliuld swap a65 body onto a frame from 65-79 and have PS PB, plus most of the aftermarket upgrades available for a 79 become available to your 65/66

Comfort not safty you mean, the better steering came out in 65. The 65 has steering like a 67-69 where as the 64 has more like my 1957, both box and column where changed.

I know you can put the 65-66 body on the 73-79 frame but the box doesn't fit the best since the wheelbase was extended 2" in 73. The 64 would have steering dating back to the 30's. That why I got rid of it.

frame was widened in 73, not lengthened, have to drill new holes in your floor
