99 Expy P1131 trouble code help!!!
Help, yall!!! My Expy (99 EB w/ 5.4) would crank, but not start the other day in the driveway...waited a couple of minutes and then, it started. Then a few days later the "service engine soon" light came on. Was at KFC the next day and there it goes again, crank, but no start...Disconnected battery to let the computer reset, waited 30 minutes, then it started. No light.
I noticed that there were dashes where the odometer reading was supposed to be when the switch was turned on during the "no crank" session...then when it started, the odometer was back to normal. Drove it a couple more days and "service engine soon" light back on, so I took it to my brother-in-law for OBD code read. It read....
P1131- Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor/Sensor Indicates Lean/Bank 1.
Can someone tell me if it's the O2 sensor ? OR What ?? Help !!!! Thanks !!!!
