While programing I got the po470 code again. Thanks to this site I know what it is. The Ford Dealer in Santa Cruz never heard of that code!! Kept telling me I must have the wrong number...
Well its soo clogged and crusty. Cleaned it and I guess it needs replaceing.
Same po470 code. My question is where can I get one? Is there an aftermarket one that works better? Does this contribute to poor fuel economy?
Im getting 11-12 around town driving conservatively.
Thanks again
you can some times find the EBPS on ebay..napa has them for around 120 bucks..when you cleaned the tube did you look for cracks and pin holes in it??blow some air into it holding your finger over the other end....clean where it go's into the exhaust manifold and into the bottom of the sensor too...yes that sensor will give you poor MPG...good luck
