seen this at the local D@)#e dealer and i'm thinking i may have to rescue the poor girl...what do you think its worth?? they have no price that i could see...
Looks nice. I like it. The paint looks new. AS for price my blue book shows it around 5400. Yet they would of gave trade in of 2500 for it.
Look it over closely, the paint is what makes me suspicious. Get a good look underneath the cab for rust and box damge.
wouldn't be a turbo, so it wouldn't be very nice for plling, but it would be a nice driver me thinks. my grampa had a 91 7.3, nice truck to drive h says, but gutless with a trailer behind it.
Morris, I think you messed me up with Glen. I would say it's worth $5000-6000.
I don't think it's gutless. I've driven my Dad's 91 F-250 7.3L diesel 5spd 4x4 and he uses it to pull the cattle trailer which loaded is about 6000 lbs. It pulls it fine. Also the truck will still spin the tires even if it has 3500 lbs of water in the box.
I did drive a 94 F-250 7.3L Powerstroke auto. Now that truck disappointed me but it was also a automatic.

Yeah pulling for them isnt a problem well the body is good shape which is ironic for those years i basicaly agree with everyone else guess on what its worth depends on how good it runs etc
well, the body on a walkaround is really good. i can't tell any bodywork has been done, the hips have a few scratches, the interior is awesome. it does look very well cared for. i'll take a closer look at the frame/belly maybe today but i don't think their open to see a price. if i drive it, what should i look for/listen for?? i don't have much diesel experience... i was thinking in the 4-6000 range, but i wouldn't be suprised to see it at 8000
interesting.....he said no comparison, his 91 to his 96 for pulling.
that truck does look clean though, and for a unburdened diesel motor, that amount of miles is inconsequential true? just need to worry bout the rest of the truck
Turbos do help alot, but they did just fine witout them. I would say it would be worth 7-8 grand f it was a 4x4, which i dont think it is, so maybe 5-6. Looks in really nice shape.

Check it out in the Pre-Power Stroke Diesel (7.3L IDI & 6.9L) https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum117/
Be sure to check out the body closely for signs of a fast/quick repair, if not it could be as nice as it looks.
Coming from a new vehicle dealer I wouldn`t expect too many problems, usually they wholesale off the poor and older vehicles to small car lots but it pays to be extra careful when buying.
