Exclamation vin# help

i checked on the fact page. i bought what is titled as a 77 f350 with a 400 on ebay. the door tag is a 77 f150 with a 302. the motor in it is a 78 460 according to the tag on it. could anyone point me to where i can find a vin tag or stamp. i checked the firewall and looked at the right frame rail. are they readily visible? or are they hidden? thanks

to find my passenger framerail vin, i had to remove the cab. i didnt remove the cab to find the vin, but it was right between the frame horns on the top, almost dead center. could probably use a mirror to see up in there. i would unbolt that side of the cab and jack it up a few inches if your really need to see. is there a sticker in the door jam?
