94 e-150 front shock removal...help
i got the top part of the shock off but kant seem to get the bottom stud off. i had to cut the bolt off. is the stud pressed in or is it screwed into the frame? thanks

It's welded to the radius arm, you can see the round indention on the outside of the arm where it's at, I suggest using a drill dead center and drill from the outside in, then install a bolt through the radius arm and shock, makes for easier repairs. I broke the nut off of a friends, his shock is resting on the remaining bolt, won't come off without removal of the top, didn't have time to replace it. I was going to drill it out as I described above, but he's been fine with it, hasn't stopped driving it long enough for me to repair it.
