for the ccv mod

what size hose do you need? will any type of hose work or does it have to a specific kind?

3/4" Gates heater hose will work just fine for at least three years. Maybe more.

It's cheap enough that you can afford to replace it once-in-a-while.

I used clear 3/4inch hose so I would be able to spot any obstructions, im not sure what type it is but I bought it at home depot.

I'd also recommend the clear vinyl type hose. You can see if it ever gets any blockage, and it seems to be tougher than heater hose material.

The clear hose from HD is vinyl, and even though it is a little tougher on "surface abrasion" issues, it has a lower temperature tolerance than the heater hose. Still, I like the idea of it and will probably do the same myself.
