damp/ rainy waeather engine misses
I got a 1990 f350 5.8l and I had a 88 f150 302 and every time it got damp or rained out it sounded like it was not firing all the pistons. Has this happened to anyone else I mean I know its hwppened to alot of people cause I always see older fords die in the rain. what is the problem? thanks

Strong possibility it's the ignition coil. I had an old ranger that would do this, wrap the coil in a plastic bag and problem solved. I have replaced the coil on my current truck several times now.. it runs fine for a year or 2, then suddenly it's afraid of the rain again. New coil.. good to go for another while.
