56 front fender

56 front fender

On the front fender on a 56 ford f100 there is and section in the front by the grill and headlight that is spot welded in .The one on my drivers side has some bad rot in that one spot.The rest of the fender is in good shape . Does anyone know of a manufacturer that just makes that one section without buying a hole fender. Its is difficult to weld a patch and is visible from looking at it from the front.

A used one from a wrecked fender comes to mind, I don`t know of any repops but someone may jump in soon.

I have contacted Bobs F100 and he is looking out back in the yard for a bad fender with a good front half

I don't know of anyone making that part as a patch panel. If anyone comes up with someone who is making them, let me know because I would like to offer it on our site.
