77f250 into 4x4 using 79f250

I have 77f250 2WD 400m looking to buy 79f250 4x4 351m rough shape just for runngnig gear both are manual . The 79 is said to fave np205 Tcase with high pinion reverse rotation 44 front axel . does anybody know if this would swap easy & what the axels and t-case would be worth. the guy gust got the truck he said it starts and t-case is working???? MY 77 is in good shape want to restore a 4x4 . any advice would be great.

Do you want to convert the 77 2wd to a 4x4?

Cab swaps are a LOT easier than converting a 4x2 into a 4x4.

Hay guys thanks for the info .So if I rebuild the 79 running gear and frame through the 77 cab on top easy as pie! whats the chance of frames being the same. Does high pinion reverse rotation 44 axel mean anything." These are some big ol trucks " Vince
