C6 trans

I have a 429cj and i was wondering if a c6 trans off of a 351 would bolt up or if the big blocks require a different bell housing? I was also wondering if a c6 trans with a short tailshaft would bolt up to the transfer case or if its different from a two wheel drive. I would appreciate any info anyone may have. Thanks

C6 trans
The C6 from the 351 wouldn't work. I don't remember if the bellhousings are interchangable on it, but I'm pretty sure they're not. You would have to have a short tailshaft to bolt up to the transfer case.
