Be Carefull....
Transmission repair profit margines vary from great to astronomical. Don't fall into the "We'll have to open it up to see what it needs" trap. Ask if they have a rebuilt exchange tranny ready to go. Ask what the "Re and Re" cost is. Ask as many questions as you can.
There's a tranny shop on Rutherford in Brampton. They're not far from Hansens' towing. I've towed cars there from Scarborough, Downtown, East End & North York. Makes me think they must be good???
Do you travel out of town quite a bit? Do alot of State-side runs? Local Joe tranny shops warranty won't do you any good far from home.
Mr.Trans is more expensive than local joe usually (Nation-wide warranty). Aamco has a pricing system that tallies up large just like ordering every bit Ala Carte. Really scary (North America-wide warranty).
