tune up

I have a 5.4 superduty and in need of a tune up how much should i expact to pay for one i just dont want to get riped off my truck has 103000 miles on it and I think I might have cop issue too.

I replaced 8 cops and used denso plugs. My cost on parts was $455, and I spent about 2hrs doing the work.

where did you get your plugs and cops at????? I see some guys getting there cops of ebay for like a 100 bucks for all 8, I thought cops cost like 95.00 a pieace i guess i was wrong.

They do, but they are still using stock style boot/connectors and near equal voltage to stock. I think MSDs were slightly cheaper than motorcraft. I wanted to try granatelli's, but I had to solve a miss before I went to visit the factory reps.

Granatelli is using a solid connector and producing something to the effect of 60k volts. Supposedily 3 times stock out put.

Just did my plugs tonight 5.4 60,000 miles and where showing a .060 cap factory is .045, and cleaned maf senor night and day difference for me. took about two hours

Mine were between .060 and .074 for the most part. Check your mileage now too.
