Tranny interchangeability website ?
Anyone know of a good website that gives model numbers and other useful info on cross referencing trannies? Specifically im wondering what trannies are interchangeable with a 90 Lincoln Town car and a 97 Crown Vic. I know the early 4.6's had some funny trannies and into the 90's there were several different ones and it all gets confusing.

Have you checked the Hollander Ebook interchange guide ? I have a copy that's been a great tool for some time . If your not familiar with this software call your local wrecker and I'm sure thier using it . Some customer service oriented yards will provide you the info requested .
