NPD order?
Has anyone ordered a radiator hose from NPD? I tryed to order a flexable upper radiator hose for my '49 F-3 flathead 6 and they sent me a wicked stiff hose that had no chance to fit! i payed like 15 bucks for it. Has this happend to anyone else? and what kind of hose should i get?

If you want a flex hose go to NAPA or just about any auto part house and you can get just about any length and diameter you want. Sounds like they either sent you a stock hose or the wrong one. Is there anything unusual about your F-3 that would make the stock hose not fit?

I ordered from another vendor and got the same thing. Here's what I've decided. They're labeled "Cut to fit". I think that stock they had a metal pipe which was curved correctly, and these straight pieces are supposed to connect up the metal pipe on either end. Like the old flatheads with the double pipes to the radiator, if you've seen those pics.
