Does an intake kit provide noticable power?

2003 xl f-350 5.4 with jba cat-back and k&n filter installed. If I install an intake kit on this rig, will I have any increase in hp or torque, or will my truck just be louder than it already is? And if so, which brand would be best? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You already have a high flow filter.
There are no significant restrictions in the stock intake.
Even the opening can flow more air than the truck uses at WOT.

Save your money for gas.

No noticable change.

I have a K&N Gen II Air Intake Kit along with a Gibson Single Cat back and an Airaid Trottle Body Spacer installed. You can definetly hear a differents. I have a small whistle at about 2000 RPM. No noticable (Not that 5-10Hp is noticable)Horse power increase though. Figure my engine is starting to run lean due to truck flow more air than what is used at WOT. Figure I need bigger injectors (24lb), get my diablo sport chip reprogramed, a MAF sensor calibrated for the bigger injectors, and remove the restritive Y pipe before I notice a real differents in horse power or torque. Next will be Cam Shafts. So, to answer your question. No, but it sound cool. Oh, it doesn't help the fuel milage either. I am running 315/75R16 and only get 11.5 miler per gallon. It didn't change either way when I installed it.
