Flexible Wire Conduits

I recently purchased a stainless flexible wiring conduit kit for the doors on my 55 F-100 from Mid 50. Looking inside of the doors there seems to be a reinforcement panel in the area that I need to drill the hole for the bushing that the flexible spring slids into. Can anyone give me any pointers on how to install this kit?
