lifter style
i have a lifter ticking its a 1993 f150 5.0 5 spd xlt 4x4 and i cna't find what style of cam i have, dou need to buy a hydrolic roller lifter or mechanical roller lifter?

well, If you have a roller cam in there, it is a hydraulic roller cam. It could also be a hydraulic flat tappet cam, since I don't know when and if ford ever put a roller cam in truck 5.0's. It was around that year, but it may have only been for 5.0 H.O.'s

well its a 5.0 h.o so i don't know, its all stock though

I think the HO has rollers. get your Haynes and check it out.
