fuelpump dilema
I have a 1990 bronco with a 4.9l engine. About a week ago the fuel pump located in the fueltank has kept working after stopping the engine and turning the key off. I noticed the sound after turning the truck off. Well last evening the fuel pump was on allnight long and drained my battery. Any suggestions on what would cause the fuelpump to stay on all the time?

It's most likely the fuel pump relay. It's in da eng. compartmt., driver's side, power distr. box; prob # 2 in your year..check your owner's Manual for the right one. Try a little screwdriver handle tap on it.
