Hey guys. I'm looking for an 07' XLT CC 4x4 with an MSRP around $46k, and was curious what others are paying for this truck. I'm in Nor-Cal so if you have any dealers you have worked with up here let me know! Thanks for the help.
You shouldn't pay much more than invoice minus any rebates, which is a lot less than msrp. I just bought an 07 f250 and that was the deal I worked out. Try pricing it out on carsdirect.com and that will give you an idea of what you should be paying.
I'm in norcal too, PM me if you want info on the dealership i used.
I would say at least 8k off MSRP. Where in CA do you reside? I purchased my PSD in Petaluma. They were the best to deal with in a 50 mile radius of Petaluma.
Great info. I live by Chico, about 90 miles north of Sacramento, but I travel all around nor-cal so driving a little way to save some $ isn't a big problem for me. If anybody has any recommendations on dealers I would appreciate it.
How do you guys like your 06'-07' s. I'm in a 02' f-350 7.3l with 200k so I'm sure it will be a huge upgrade!
motox, if your in nor cal, check out the ford store morgan hill, lots of trucks and great prices. mine had a sticker of 41 got it for 33. now i have no ground to say this cause im part of the problem. but dont u think part of the reason ford is bankrupt is that all of us want to start at invoice and bargan down?

You don't think Ford (and all the others) don't already KNOW this? Don't worry, Ford gets THEIR money. It's the dealer that has to take the beating.
Check country ford in ceres, they've been advertising an '07 cc sb 4wd lariet for about 38K...im sure they have a web site...what I did was spend the money with consumer reports and its good for a month. It gives you invoice per item so you can compare apples to apples which you can get for free at edmunds, BUT consumers also give the the regional rebates and kickbacks per zip code so you have more to bargin with...I ended up paying 417.00 over invoice cost, including the dealers kickbacks from ford, that was in '04.

Can't say I disagree, but wouldn't all the manufacturers have the same problem? I mean, nobody wants to get ripped off and everybody want to say how great of a deal they got (myself included!). I think part of the "fun" of car shopping is negotiating and trying to get the best possible deal. It seems it would apply with any brand you purchase.
Check Corning Ford, they sure have alot of trucks. According to fleet person, they outsell Red Bluff/Redding and another dealership in Butte County combined.
