Well, put on a clifford intake, holley 2300 350 cfm carb and dynomax headers. The truck deffinatly runs better. 2 weeks later, i get an exhuast leak out from the headers from a blownout gasket. The headers don't seem to be sealing well. I believe theres not enough bolt holes on the engine head because there are more holes on the header flanges than on the head of the cylender.
So, should i drill and tap a hole on the cylender head to match the holes on the head and hope for a better seal or should i scrap the headers and get efi manifolds. Bare in mind that if possible i don't want to have to pay even more for the manifolds but will if thats the only option. Any replys are appriciated
