Hi there.I have a 1995 f-150 4x4 with the 300 inline 6 cylinder with an automatic transmission.I also have a rebuilt 351M with a 5 speed manuel and transfer case. Will it be possible to put the 351M drive train in this 95 body and chassis? And if so what mods will i be looking at.Any in formation will be great. Thanks
I think you can but there are some differences im sure the mounts would need to be changed are you sure its a 351M those came in 77 and newer trucks a lot easier to find a 351W cause thats whats in the 92-96 trucks
welcome . I take it you want to do away with fuel injection . I didn't know they had a 5 spd for the trucks with 351m . That old a motor will probably have clutch linkage instead of hydraulic. Also if you have emissions testing the 351m May trow a wrench in things. The 351m is a good motor but I would find a 351w and it will drop right in, as well as newer manual trans . And with the right ecm you can run all fuel injection and get some mileage out of beast. But good luck
