down 1 cylinder

#7 cylinder not running
Recently my 97 f150 4.6 has been running horribly. The #7 cylinder is down, and i can't figure out why. It has spark, so i figured it was the injector. I replaced the injector and still nothing.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what it could be. Is valve sticking a common problem? I'm not sure where to go. I'll check the compression when i get some time, but was wondering if anyone has any other ideas.

Hi and welcome to the forum 
Did you get a chance to check the compression yet?
How many miles on the spark plugs? Sometimes a plug will have spark when it's out of the hole but won't when it's under pressure in the engine.
