If you get the 460 mounts/pedestals from a late 70's truck, you should be able to find headers to fit the 70's trucks, that will fit the '68. I think L&L makes a complete conversion kit, including their headers to put the 460 in your truck. I didn't know this when I did mine. I bolted the trans mount to the crossmember, then fabricated my own engine mounts. Then I frigged around with various fan/pulley combinations before I found one that would fit between the engine and the rad. Then I had to make up my own auto shift linkage, that ruined my kick-down lever. Needless to say, it wasn't easy, but it works. I wish I'd known about the later 70's trucks with 460's, or the L&L kits before. It's easier to get a whole late 70's truck that has the 460, that way all the parts you'll need are there. Hope this helps somewhat.
