Brake question

On a 2000 F350, I putting new hardware and greasing up the sliders etc...the problem is that there was no brake pad "spreader" on there..I dont know which way the wishbone shape wire piece goes back on..it either goes with the v part up in the caliper bracket or down towards in inside of the caliper...help???

There should be two of them on each side. Take a look at the link. They should point inward on the brake pads. One on top pointing down and the other on the bottom pointing upward....http://www.FTEs diesel forums.com/fo...ead.php?t=4870
