Lowering 4x4 Supercrew
i know its possible to do, have read plenty of posts about it. im not looking to slam it but I would like to lower my 02 lariat 4x4 to roughly the same height as the 02 harely davidson so I would have the same gap between the wheel wells if I installed a set of 20" wheels with the same tire specs.
anyone know how much i would have to drop the front and the rear to achieve this? i cant find any specs on the factory height aside from the fact that the HD sits one inch lower then the base model 2x4 supercrew. my 02 lariat sits about 2-3 inches taller then my dads 03 lariat super cab so im not sure why it has such a tall stance from factory, the wheels are the factory 17" and the tires are the same size as my dads. it looks like i may be looking at having to do a 4-5 inch drop in the rear.
