i have a 91 e150 econoline van but it does not have sway bars i went to the junk yard today and saw a few vans (same year and type) with front sway bars but i wasnt sure if i could just get one and put it on my van it looked like the only difrences were the brackets under the coil spring but i could take them as well .has anyone done this and does it help the ride handling at all .thanks
i went to the junk yard today and got the sway bars and the brackets what a bitch it was but i installed them on my van and the difrence is like night and day you were right hemi i do love the sway bar .i dont know how i went without it for so long .its amazing how much better it hande its real good for a van with a high top. only thing i noticed while installing the sway bar was the king pins are shot .
Now get one for the rear...most newer trucks have them and they just clamp on to the axle......easy install.....again night and day difference.........
