Hi Everyone, Has any one ever done a over the Shoulder set up in a 66 f100
I think that would worth while mod, Just a thought, Maby some pics of How TO. Info of what belt might work? Let me know your thoughts on this one. Thanks Guys Bill W
Just finished this upgrade to my 65. Bought the seats from Wesco Performance. $80 for each shoulder belt set (with mounting kit) and $55 for a 4-point belt in the center for my young daughter.
Their web site has great installation instructions and it was easy to do. There's a section of double wall steel on our trucks just where you want it. You can pull back the head liner, drill through the first layer, reach up behind to install the anchors and bolts. I used the factory floor belt locations.
Bill The 66 came with lap belts. You can adapt shoulder belts in it. Belts have improved over the years, remember the old neck rubbers? Do some checking and find a style and color that you like and go from there. My 2
Yes - worked just great with stock seats. Just make sure you order the belts to fit bench seats (longer strap to get up and through the seat). They sell belts for bucket seats and these wouldn't work for bench seats.
